Pistons & Rings
We have piston rings and complete piston kits available (standard & oversize) for most European 50cc junior motorcycles.
Complete kits include PISTON, RINGS, GUDGEON PIN & CIRCLIPS.

Cast iron Morini S5E Piston
Cast iron S5E Pistons (Part no. 23.0141)
We currently supply the 2-reed piston, as recommended by the Morini factory. This is not identical to the original item but will work perfectly. Kit contains piston, rings, gudgeon pin and circlips.

Dykes top Ring
Dykes top Ring (part no. 26.1003).
Fits Morini S5E and S6E Engines (39mm
std bore). You will also need the 1.5mm plain ring (part no. 26.1044).

1.5mm Plain Ring
Morini 1.5mm Plain Ring (part no. 26.1044). This is the lower of the two rings on the dykes top ring piston.

Morini S5-GS piston
Piston kit for Morini S5-GS 4-reed valve engine, (part no. 23.0145) as fitted to Husky Boy machines and early KTM (all pre 2002 bikes).
Piston with oval transfer port and 2 x 1mm rings (supplied with rings, gudgeon pin & circlips)
MORINI ALLOY BARRELLED ENGINES are usually fitted with non-dykes pistons

Morini S5N Piston
Morini S5N piston (for the S5E engine with alloy barrel). Part no. 23.0146.
Plain Piston with 2 x 1mm rings, circlips and gudgeon pin.

Morini S6S piston
Piston for the Morini S6S sports engine (Identify by checking exhaust. If S6 and held on by springs it is an S6S engine). Supplied with rings, gudgeon pin & circlips.
Piston with large oval transfer port 2 x 1mm Rings (N.B. NOT the same piston as fitted to S5-GS)

Non-dykes 1mm ring
Ring (1mm) for non-dykes piston (part no. 26.1056) as fitted to Morini S5-GS engines (fitted to Husky boy) and the S6S piston too. You will need two of these for the S5-GS and S6S pistons.
